Day 01 - Colombo Airport ➝ Chilaw ➝ Dambulla

- Pick up from Colombo Airport and Drive to Chilaw, an important site in Rama’s journey post-battle.
- Visit Munneswaram Temple.
It is believed that after defeating Ravana, Lord Rama stopped here to pray to Lord Shiva to absolve the sin of killing a Brahmin (Ravana, though a demon king, was a Brahmin by birth). The temple is revered for Rama’s act of devotion and purification. - Then Visit Manavari Temple.
This is the very first place where Lord Rama installed a Shiva Lingam to seek atonement, and the lingam here is known as Ramalinga Shiva, as it was personally consecrated by Rama — making it one of only two Ramalingams in the world.. - After Visiting the temple then proceed to Sigiriya or Dambulla.
- Stay overnight at Dambulla or Sigiriya.
Day 02 - Dambulla ➝ Ritigala ➝ Trincomalee

- Drive from Dambulla to Trincomalee, en route visiting Ritigala Mountain.
- Visit Ritigala Mountain.
According to Ramayana legend, Hanuman dropped a part of the Himalayas here while carrying the Sanjeevani herb to save Lakshmana. This mystical mountain is closely linked to the Ramayana’s magical and heroic moments. - Visit Koneswaram Temple.
Perched on a cliff in Trincomalee, this temple is said to have been visited by Ravana to worship Shiva and seek his blessings before the battle with Rama. The temple’s sea-facing views add to its significance as a place of spiritual power. - Stay overnight at Trincomalee.
Day 03 - Trincomalee ➝ Kandy ➝ Ramboda

- Travel from Trincomalee to Kandy, the cultural heart of Sri Lanka.
- Visit Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. Though not Ramayana-related, this temple holds the sacred tooth relic of Buddha and is one of the most revered sites in Sri Lanka.
- Visit Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple. Situated in Ramboda, this temple commemorates Hanuman’s devotion while searching for Sita in Lanka. A large statue of Hanuman overlooks the misty landscape, symbolizing his strength and dedication.
- Visit Ramboda Falls.
Close to this cascading waterfall is a region believed to have been part of Hanuman’s landing zone when he first arrived in Lanka in search of Sita. According to legend, his powerful leap shook the landscape, and his footprints are believed to be imprinted on nearby rocks. - Overnight Stay at Ramboda.
Day 04 - Ramboda ➝ Nuwara Eliya

- Journey into Nuwara Eliya, believed to be the very region where Sita was held captive.
- Visit Seetha Amman Temple.
Located at the exact spot where Sita was kept in Ashoka Vatika by Ravana, this temple is built beside the stream where she bathed. You can still see footprints in the rock, believed by devotees to be those of Hanuman. - Visit Ashok Vatika.
The lush garden where Ravana tried to win over Sita’s heart, and where Hanuman finally met her to deliver Rama’s ring and message of hope. The area still retains its forested beauty, believed to have been preserved through divine grace. - Visit Divurumpola Temple.
This sacred site is where Sita underwent her Agni Pariksha (fire ordeal) to prove her purity to Rama. Even today, Sri Lankan couples come here to take oaths of honesty, believing in its power as a place of truth. - Stay overnight in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 05 - Nuwara Eliya ➝ Ella ➝ Kataragama

- Drive from Nuwara Eliya to Kataragama, passing through Ella.
- Visit Ravana Falls.
This magnificent waterfall is associated with Ravana’s kingdom and believed to be where Ravana hid Sita in his palace. The falls, named after the king, continue to captivate with their beauty and mythology. Visit Ravana Caves.
These caves are linked to the Ramayana as the place where Ravana kept Sita hidden during her captivity in Lanka. The caves, amidst the lush surroundings, echo the mysterious past.Travel to Kataragama and Visit Kataragama Temple.
A sacred site revered by both Hindus and Buddhists. It is believed that Ravana worshipped Lord Skanda (Murugan) here, and the temple holds spiritual significance within the Ramayana.- overnight stay at Kataragama.
Day 06 - Kataragama ➝ Colombo ➝ Colombo Airport

- Return to Colombo, the bustling capital.
If time allows, visit Sri Ponnambalam Vanesar Kovil .
A sacred granite temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Though not tied directly to the Ramayana, it honors the same deities invoked by Rama in his quest.- Do some shopping in Colombo and Transfer to Airport for Departure.
