Safari Experience
Yala is divided into five blocks, with Block 1 (Palatupana Entrance) being the most visited. Visitors can embark on thrilling jeep safaris to witness wildlife in their natural habitat. Early morning and late afternoon are the best times for safaris, as animals are most active during these hours.
Morning start at 6.00 am till 10.00 am.
Afternoon Start at 2.00 pm and till 6.00 pm.

The best time to visit Yala National Park is between February and July, when the water levels are low, increasing the chances of spotting wildlife near water sources. The park is typically closed in September for maintenance and to allow wildlife to recover.
